Stress.

About 2 seconds after my excitement of reaching 100 sales hit, the reality of it sunk in and I realized, holy cow I have so much work to do! And of course it all came at just perfect timing - when I have to spend the entire weekend moving! Arghh! I am just trying to keep up with all of my orders, get them finished, and not list any new items until I'm moved and settled. I still keep getting custom requests by convo - it's amazing and crazy all at once!

We went by the new house today hoping it would be empty and ready for move-in. I even threw a load of stuff in my car to make the trip out there worthwhile. Unfortunately there is still stuff in the house from the previous tenants, trash outside the garage, tons of boxes in the garage, and they haven't moved the fridge or washer and dryer yet. So I guess they lied when they said they'd be out by Monday or Tuesday. Oh well, patience, Jennifer! I'm trying!

Back to work..

100.

I am just ecstatic to have already reached my sales goal for July! I just hit 100 sales since opening on June 15. I really can't even believe it. Wow, I love my Etsy clients. Amazing!

So many good things.

While I wish I had some time to sit down and figure out how to make a blogger template, I really can't complain about how busy I've been this past week and will be this coming week. Busy with kids, busy with old friends, busy with work, busy with a perfect new house I absolutely cannot wait to move into. And the boy finally said we can get a dog. Not a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, fine. But a DOG! Ohmygosh I can't even explain how happy that news made me.

This has been an incredible weekend. Sometimes I forget how much I miss my friends in the summer. And Katie was the most stunning bride I've ever seen. She is always pretty, but yesterday I cried when she walked down the aisle.

And now for my adorable kids. Not mine, just the ones I babysit. Ella, Darth Vader (I mean, Grant), Abba the alligator, and Julien. Precious.

First post.

I've been meaning to start a blog for awhile. Seems like everybody's doing it. But seriously, everyone on Etsy seems to have a blog, and I hear they're a great way to promote business. I love checking out other sellers' blogs, especially the ones with great photography. Ooh this is easier than I expected!

I got a convo this morning on Etsy asking if I do design work for blogs. I've had a couple other requests for blog graphics and templates and I feel like a dope for being a graphic designer and having no clue how to make a blogger template! So here I am - ready to learn. I may not figure it out today but hopefully now that my blog is sitting here, ready and waiting for me, I will feel slightly more motivated to figure out this template thing! And maybe even start writing! I'm sure all zero of the people who read this just can't wait.

Such fun writing to myself..
