As I've been scouring Flickr groups for pretty spaces, these lovely photos of ivy style33's penthouse keep drawing me in. I love all the white mixed with soft neutrals, gorgeous light, and that perfect shade of pale blue that pops up in so many of her images.

Last weekend we went to the annual Darryl Starbird car show here in Tulsa. This was the third year I've gone with my lover-of-all-things-on-wheels boyfriend. While I don't have quite the same appreciation for the vehicles on display as he does, I did enjoy some good people-watching.

Kids' reactions are always fun to see, but I think it's the groups of older men huddled around a car in child-like awe that make me smile most.

This month I started a new blog on tumblr just for storing and sharing all the inspiring spaces I find. I love that I will be able to look back through all the pages of beautiful rooms for ideas when I finally have my own home to renovate and decorate exactly how I want.

Through all the inspiring homes I've seen, I keep coming back to this one. I really do think it's perfect.

A few days late, but I thought you still might like this. Inspired by Katie's flipbook, I made a fun animated Valentine to send to my loves [aka my boyfriend, my mom, and my grandpa]. I took the photo with my new camera and tripod and did the animation in Photoshop. I think it turned out pretty cute. I hope you all had a lovely Valentine's Day!

P.S. Did you notice I'm a brunette now?! I have been for almost a month and I love it!

Morning Snow.

This winter weather is crazy. I didn't even notice it was snowing until I looked up this morning to see my front yard covered in white. Just as I started dreading my afternoon drive to pick up the kids I babysit, it started melting away as quickly as it came.
