Seriously awesome house. I love both the form and its function.

From the original article on FreshHome:
"This Madrid-based project generates three times the energy it consumes and also houses an orchard in order to produce food. The shape of this house was dictated by its purpose: a sustainable, self-sufficient construction whose 'form follows energy'."

You can have one of your very own for around $60,000!

These are definitely the most beautiful finger paintings I've ever seen.

If you haven't visited HelloEarth, you really must. Such a gorgeous shop!

I've become slightly obsessed with my little collection of prints by Etsy artists.

This one by Leah Giberson is on my wish list right now.

Everything about it says summer to me.

Have you come across any great art finds recently, on Etsy or elsewhere? If so, please share links in the comments.

While Googling something else entirely, these pretty prints by Kirra Jamison popped up in my image search. I'm sure you guys know by now how much I adore owls and I am loving Kirra's other work as well. Hooray for happy accidents!

Thank you, Google, for an awesome new blog and artist discovery on this Thursday afternoon.

Working with clients all over the world, I don't often get to see my work after it's been printed, so I get really excited when I do occasionally get a glimpse at how a project came together.

Last week I worked with Elizabeth Gomez, owner of The Candy Buffet. I designed the labels and signage for her French carnival-inspired display at the Oregon Bride Magazine party. Is there anything better than color coordinated candy? It turned out great, Liz!

Click here for a few more photos from the event.

A little interior inspiration, brought to you by the color yellow.

From soft and subtle to super bold, I love the impact these shades of buttercream, lemon and goldenrod have on the spaces above. I think it's especially great in a single stand-out element, like the airplane that really pops in an otherwise neutral bedroom.

How do you feel about decorating with yellow? Does it cheer you up or do you find it overwhelming?

I know it's not for everyone, but I'm a fan in small doses.

I always found it amusing that my grandma had an entire kitchen drawer devoted just to aprons, but after seeing all of these cute styles from Simply Whimsical, I'm considering starting a collection of my own. Surely I can find an empty cabinet to store these pretties! I would gladly give up a few pots and pans to make space for sweet ruffles and polka dots.

Ever since I came across this tiny Victorian dream house, I can't get it out of my mind.

Isn't it amazing?!

I'm in awe at how much beautiful detail fits into such a small space.

The surrounding landscape in the Catskills is absolutely gorgeous as well.

What do you think? Are you now dreaming of a pretty little escape in the woods?
